Pokemon TCG Playing Club: Surging Sparks Pre-release Three 27/10/24 - 11:00pm Start

Meeting Time: 11:00 at Card Catcher Shop! Building and play starts from 11:30 (see details below)

Cost: £25 - To be paid on the day, but please enter your details to book your space on here. When Billing Information is filled, click Proceed to payment, which will skip, and not take any payments, presenting a finalise button.

The pre-release will be using a standard tournament based system, with Swiss rounds being employed to keep match ups balanced, and keep everyone playing whilst having fun. Time will be given for everyone to build their decks before play time begins. Decks will need to be 40 cards in capacity, and only 4 prize card games instead of the standard 6.

The £25 entry fee will include a Surging Sparks pre-release kit (this consists of one pre-release deck and 4 Booster Packs of Surging Sparks). 3 additional Surging Sparks Booster Packs will be given out at the end for those who complete the event. Spaces are limited, so please book before arriving.

Trading will not be permitted until the event has finished.

Pokemon Trainer ID: In order to compete in the pre-release, you will need to have a Trainer ID, you can sign up to create a Trainer Account with Pokemon here:

The challenge will be based in our shop! Located at: 118 High Street, Staple Hill, Bristol, BS16 5HH.

What you will need:

  • Whilst not essential, Deck Sleeves are highly recommended in order to keep your cards safe, damaged or marked cards will be disallowed.

Rules:

  • All people 16 and under will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian OR have written permission to be on site. please contact us beforehand if this is the case.
  • Food and opened drinks need to be consumed away from cards. if you have a bottle with a cap, you may have it with you as long as it is sealed between drinks.
  • Keep all hands to ourselves, and away from other people's items and cards unless given permission.
  • No squabbles, any disagreements should be brought to the attention of the person in charge.
  • Excitement is good! But disruptive behavior is not, please refrain from shouting over others.
